Kid person.
Apparently, even for kids ‘iPhone is everything’. Take for example, Nathan (the 5-year old kid assigned to me in our annual Christmas Party for the orphans in Rockwell). Nathan likes to play. And no, not just any play. It must be angry birds in iPhone. Yes, he was very specific. I have no iPhone (not yet, dammit!) so he went to one of the managers and asked if he could play with her iPhone. He spent three-fourths of the entire event playing. Such is life. I was ignored by my kid. He only came back when it was time to eat and I had to feed him.
He was happy when I gave him his gift though, which was bought just five minutes prior in the power plant mall. Well, it’s the thought that counts, you know. I gave him educational materials and chinese marbles (o jolen sa tagalog ho!). I wasn’t bitter. See am so mature now.
I’m such a kid-person. At least, I’d like to think so.
